Mu-Zi: Barefoot Tour of the Ancient Town
When I met Mu-Zi, she had already arrived first. We chatted briefly and then began our barefoot outing. My impression of Mu-Zi's feet was that they were substantial, with delicate toes. Mu-Zi herself is also a beauty with great poise. Thus, her being barefoot, wearing a long skirt on the street, was not at all out of place.

We first walked towards the ancient town, taking photos as we went. Before long, the soles of our feet were already black, and the ground was very hot that day. Mu-Zi endured it and gradually adapted. At first, she was a bit nervous, but as time went on, she became more natural. We walked, took photos, and chatted as we went. There were many people in the small town, and many pointed at us. However, we kept talking and gradually ignored those people.

We entered the ancient town. The roads in the ancient town were made of black, uneven, and very rough cobblestones, and they were quite hot. I was very worried that Mu-Zi wouldn't be able to bear it, but she was quite strong. She just said, “Oh, it's so hot,” and then slowly adapted. After all, it was an ancient town, and there were many tourists. Mu-Zi and I were among them, often stopping to observe the passing ancient buildings and alleyways.

While passing through an alley, we encountered a wedding procession here. We passed through it and watched for a while. At this point, perhaps because we walked so naturally, the strange looks from people decreased. We got up and walked towards the small lake behind the town. The area around the small lake was very peaceful. There was a dirt path by the lake and a gravel path, a good place to test one's barefoot skills. Mu-Zi first walked onto the dirt path, found a step to sit on in the middle, and rested for a moment. She stretched out her feet for me to take photos while enjoying the beautiful lakeside scenery.
After taking photos, Mu-Zi got up, and we walked into the woods. There was an area near the water here. Mu-Zi went over, waded in the water, washed her feet, and then continued forward. The path ahead was paved with very coarse stone slabs, not easy to walk on, and there were some small insects around, so we walked a bit slower.

Suddenly, we saw a group of people standing on the dam looking very tense. We walked over. It turned out a family had brought their beloved dog for an outing, and the puppy had fallen into the water. They were trying to rescue it. Mu-Zi was very enthusiastic about helping and offering suggestions. We helped here for a long time, and finally, the puppy made it ashore, and Mu-Zi was relieved. We walked back, taking another path—the gravel path!

On the gravel path, Mu-Zi was very uncomfortable and walked very cautiously. Not long after, she switched to the cobblestone path. Mu-Zi said, “I need to practice walking on gravel paths more in the future~” When passing by a tree full of fruit, we were both curious about what kind of fruit it was. Mu-Zi picked a cluster to observe. I asked her to place it under her foot and step on it to squeeze out the juice, which Mu-Zi did. However, it was clear that Mu-Zi is a clean person. After stepping on it, she walked into the grass and used the grass to rub off the mud stuck to her soles, then headed back towards the ancient town. Finally, we arrived back at the ancient town, had tea at an open-air teahouse inside. Mu-Zi rested her feet on the chair, happily using her phone ******. We took some photos here, and as it grew late, we each went home.
