Xia (小霞)

As autumn deepens, I found a commercial street under construction and invited Xia, whom I hadn't seen for a long time, to take a barefoot stroll.

The weather has been rainy and overcast lately. Finally, when the rain stopped, I called Xia. It had been half a year since our last shoot, and Xia is now a university student. Our shooting location was near a park close to Xia's home. She still hadn't fully recovered from a cold but insisted on going barefoot in such cold, damp weather, which moved me deeply. We walked for over two hours. Xia's ankles are very slender, and the soles of her feet were slightly cracked, which looked quite beautiful.

Xia is a high school student who loves going barefoot but doesn't get many chances. During the May Day holiday, I took her to a small village in the suburbs to fully enjoy being barefoot. She came with two friends. After meeting, she took off her shoes and threw them to her friend. Her friend kept them for her, and then we went to play in the village. It was early summer, the sun was strong that day, and the ground was hot. She adapted quickly. The road was uneven, but she still adapted quickly. In the end, she simply started playing on the rubble and gravel field. Then, her friends also came over to help me take pictures, haha.
